Just Say Rock Productions is proud to announce that on New Years Eve and New Years Day, Australia's inaugural SCREAMFEST will take place at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney. Never before has a metal event of this magnitude been held on our shores. No less than 9 international acts and 10 local artists will be performing over two days for what will be the first Australian metal festival of the calibre of other prestigious European and overseas events.

in that list i only listen to rotting christ, but ive heard of about half of the others, and heard of none of the aussie bands, but i probably wont like em.
it does look pretty big tho, big shame there's no Amon Amarth or Behemoth.

And mantello i could easily say something about all those defqon/qdance/sublime threads u make, but i dont.

The main reason I'm liking it is because of Sonata Arctica. I'm a big fan of their stuff. Cynic, Ensiferum, and Edguy would be great too, but I wish they were on the same day as Sonata. I'd be interested in seeing Rotting Christ, Synperium, Destroyer 666, and Dark Funeral as well.

I'll be getting a the 1 day pass, cause the New Years Eve Lineup looks awesome and Destruction is one of my favourite metal bands. Day 2 looks fairly shit except for Edguy

The best Metal is almost always from Finland/Sweden/Germany.....
but only listen to Sonata Arctica... I think I like Vanishing Point, but dont have any...
