In relation to the debate about this question:

Riley has 150 employees. She is preparing a report outlining her companys plans to ensure women have better access to senior positions. Which workplace issue is Riley addressing?
a) anti discrimination
b) EEO
c) OH&S
d) workers compensation

I just went through my text book and this what the definition of EEO: Refers to the equitable policies and practises in recruitment, selection, training and promotion. They ensure that the best person for the job in choosen etc etc etc... so its not just for before employment like people are saying, its for whenever someone is getting a new position, whether their outside the business or inside

· The Anti-DiscriminationAct 1977 (NSW) entitles employees to fair treatment

· These anti discrimination laws make itillegal to discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age or physicalappearance
Could be either one, we will have to wait and see i suppose

Its funny, people are saying its Common Law, but the teachers (Even the head of the HSC marker I read somewhere on this post) said its FWA and i HOPE IT IS :D
If the answer is indeed FWA, there will be massive outcry since we have been taught to obey the syllabus no matter what....

how is question 19 liquidity

cash flow shows inflows and outflows of money...

hence profitability = revenue - expenses

it cant show liquidity because that takes into account inventory...
which is not a cash inflow, as it hasnt been sold

someone explain?

Business studies 2002 q26 short answer: outline the role of cash flow statements, answer from excel success one: cash flow statement record infow and outflow of cash to a business over a certain period. The role of the cash flow statement is to show a business's LIQUIDITY (ability to meet short term obligations)

its actually ONLY financial stability, inflation and employment are UNDER financial stability therefore by maintaing these factors financial stability can be achieved along with interference in the forex market.

Hi all, just offering my opinion on the question about the legal framework and the contrasting views about whether it is common law or Fair Work Act. I'm 100% sure it is common law, as Fair Work Act is NOT a legal framework, but rather a piece of legislation. Hope that resolves some of the issues. :)

There is evidently discrimination if they need to be given access to higher positions in the first place... So answer is both, but probably EEO is more correct.
