No, there is a chance at pi/2 there is an open circle, hence B would be the answer in this case.

Hard to explain since I used 4u to graph it. I've seen these situations like absolute values where if you put the value in the calculator, it reads limited answers but when you graph the solution, there are actually more answers. But since this is 2u, they would most likely accept B since 2u is so limited.

The answer to that MC problem is (B), as x=pi/2 is not defined.

The sketch of the curve LOOKS like it has three X intercepts, but there is actually an open circle at x=pi/2.
