urgggggh, i hate reading journals. how the fuck am i meant to summarise and assess a massive article in only 200 words?

Well Marxism blows.
And I feel neutral towards the others. So Keynesian and Neoclassical it is.

I think in my ecop subject for next semester I'm going to try the least popular topics /essay questions just for a change.

Which one are you doing next semester?
I'm leaning towards economy and policy.

Do you know if we are supposed use footnotes and stuff to quote good points of theirs? Or provide evidence if we think theyre wrong (which i dont).

i'm not footnoting, if i give a specific quote i'm just putting the page number in brackets. i have the full reference for each article at the top of the entry so i don't think there's a need to footnote fully. and i don't think we need specific evidence, just saying stuff like 'this is poorly argued because X' should be enough considering how short the whole thing is.

Though in the past it has been lectured by Gabrielle Meagher. I've heard a lot of bad things about her.

oh and she wrote up a 'better' intro and conclusion for me. Both were horrible.

Intro:
"This paper will talk about the arguments for the validity of the agenda setting approach. Then this paper will talk about the arguments against the validity of this approach. Then this paper will look at both via a case study. Then the paper will have a conclusion"

Conclusion:
"This paper has talked about the arguments for the validity of the agenda setting approach. Then this paper talked about the arguments against the validity of this approach."

HAHA, oh that's terrible. I mean, keep it sort and simple but not at year 6 level!

And I braved the quad at 11 to maybe see Ashton.
Do you know how hard it is for a small asian girl to find people in a sea of black cloaks?! Crazy stuff. Very intimidating.

I also bought Death Cab tickets at nine-oh-five.

I have to go to the physio this arvo. He's going to be grumpy because I haven't been doing my ankle exercise thingies.
