you don't have to vote at all. I'm not sure if there are incentives this year (a couple of years ago, everyone who voted got a $5 food voucher).

i'm so glad that USU directors rarely get the opportunity to see any of their policies materialise, because each of the elected candidates has at least one thoroughly fucked policy. affirmative action for queer candidates, subsidising poors so they can go to USU events and get ACCESS, frozen yoghurt on campus (froyo sucks, kindly fuck off), 'employment hubs' (stop trying to improve career services for non-technical or professional degrees, it's not going to happen).

Kinda pissed Robby got elected, I thought he was awful. When I was voting I numbered all the candidates just so I could put him last.

Do it , just watch them online. I don't think I've been to a full week worth of lectures this semester (added up over the course of the semester - had a valid reason though) and everything's turned out fine.
