So whats everyone doing this semester?

As for me

LAW402 Family Law - Might swtich to dispute resolution
LAW421 Foundations of Commercial law
LAW317 Prop & Equity II
ECON335 Economics of Financial institutions (need to graduate in economics after this semester)

And also, if i land a clerkship at crown solicitor's office, might ditch one unit so i can extended to 5.5 years instead... (just too much work probably)

Only 10 CP? Since you have completed 6CP at 300 LAW (prop and const) you are eligable to start doing some of the law electives to make later semesters easier

Hey Luke, i was thinking about ECON360, but a 3 hour ilec with no tutes sounded good and i remember turnell was a good lecturer back in macro 110.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a core unit for my Applied Finance degree, so I am forced to do it.

I did ECON350 last semester, which has the same structure as ECON360, three hour lectures and no tutorials. Amazingly, I managed to pull a Credit with only ever attending three of those lectures and never listening to any ilectures. I survived solely on the lecturer notes uploaded to Blackboard.

It seems these lecture-only units tend to provide a pretty good return on investment. Nevertheless, I'll be attending every lecture for ECON360 as I'm slightly motivated to get straight distinctions this semester.

Anyone doing econ311?

I wanna know who the lecturer is now that bill junor has retired. He was a great lecturer and I know this unit will never be the same.

Oh for anyone who has done isys114, is it necesary to get the textbook? Or is the lec notes sufficient?

I didn't buy a textbook when I did it back in Sem 2, 2006. You should see if you want one for the first half of the unit (the theoretical stuff).

Both semesters last year I did 14cp and I don't want to do it with too many law subjects

I'm doing LAW500 - Litigation, and I'm tossing up between sticking with international Human Rights law, or doing the thesis unit. Decisions, decisions...

I'm thinking I should change my signature to "Two subject bandit" like IWR :p
