Only 10 CP? Since you have completed 6CP at 300 LAW (prop and const) you are eligable to start doing some of the law electives to make later semesters easier

Hey Luke, i was thinking about ECON360, but a 3 hour ilec with no tutes sounded good and i remember turnell was a good lecturer back in macro 110.
Turnell is awesome. You don't need to attend lectures for 335 at all.

I might do ECON360 however it clashes with some other units...does anyone know whether i-lecture would be sufficient?

Turnell is taking econ335, and since there are no tutes, the uploaded slides, the readings and ilecture would (imo) be enough

Anybody know if the ECON360 lecturer (Stefan Trück) is any good? I have my doubts since I've had some pretty horid ECON lecturers in the past.

Exactly. More than enough. You will need no more than two days to study the material.

I emailed Stefan and he never got back to me. I needed to ask him something in regards to alternatives way to do this unit (perhaps through Open Universities)

Turnell, McHarg and Hawtrey were the best ECON lecturers I've come across. Chadi Aoun (ACCG250) is a top bloke as well

Stefans awesome, but has this habit of taking a really long approach in answering relatively simple questions. Econ360 should be easy compared to your other units, just make sure you go to the lectures and take down the example questions provided (or get someone to do that for you)
Nearing the finals he'll give you a sample paper which pretty much mirrors what you'll get in the finals.

I don't think you'll really need your book either unless its for practice. Having said that Im selling mine. : )

haha are you actually going to do these units or drop a couple like last semester? :D
Good question ;) At the moment I'll most likely be sticking with all 4 assuming these ISYS sub's aren't hell in curriculum form.

300 level, I assume?
Geernerally, Cog's great (Jamie, did you do it?) if you're a logical sorta person. Personality seemed quite cool from what I've head. That said, I've got a mega-crush on Doris, too, so maybe that's why... :D

Personally, i'd go Cog, but only because of my recent delving into decision making... which is sorta different to cog... so maybe you should ignore this advice.. :)

I never did cognitive psychology - I did personality though - which was really cool. The unit had quite a bit of assessment % towards essays, which I always like.
