Server Migration (1 Viewer)

We will be migrating our forum and also database servers over the next few days.. You will probably see the whole site going up and down.. but hopefully this will be minimal!

After the move everything should be a lot faster and more stable.

OK - Looks like the DB move went OK.. can people let me know if they have any problems?

Next thing to move is the forum software..

BOS is lagging like hell for me and drops out, i've tried using two comps on diff ISP's and yeah it's the same.

I also keep getting:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/db_connect.php on line 19
and the white 'report technical problems' page.

Too many connections issue should be fixed.. looking into why the site is so slow..
the main site is fine.. just the forums

Yeah.. not sure what the problem with the speed is.. trying to load the DB up onto another server and see how it does

Its lagging so much, and i keep getting a message saying theres encoding problems.

Just a note. YOu may not notice a speed increase until we move the forum pages over to a new server as well.. so if it is the same speed then that is good.
