ok after waiting for the album to come out for ages (i've had it on pre-order) i finally got it today and although i'm only 1/2 way through listening it's worth every cent of my $25!!

i have to say (sorry to guy fans) but shannons version of angels i personally think is way better, it comes on a limited edition cd with the album...

shannon fans - get out there and get your copy! well worth it i promise!

honestly - i don't know how shannon made it that far in the competition. His voice wasn't particularly good i thought. And i really think that guy's version of Angels was by far better. An aspect i didn't like about Australian Idol was the fact that idols such as millsy and shannon only got that far because of the teeny boppy fans that voted for them because of their cute looks, rather than anything else.

yes and the token shannon move features in there a few times - it's pretty difficult, the point and the pull... nevertheless - GO SHANNON

I thought Shannon's voice was pretty average. His voice did nothing for me but I didn't dislike it either. I prefer Guy's version of Angels Brought Me Here. Guy's first clip did suck but you have to remember it was done on a tight budget with limited time. I won't buy Shannon's CD but if I find anyone that has it, I'll listen to it.

mmm yeh i dont get how shannon can beat someone like paulini though.. he wasnt that good a singer.. he did have is own style which is uncommon these days (the whole jimmy barnes thing)
also had good looks to go with it, but i think other finalists deserved to come 2nd more than him

its embarrasing to be 'australian' considering he made the top two...
