This is the most important thing. ATAR is there to get you into uni. Once you are in no one gives a fuck. Ive never been asked my ATAR in my time at uni and never asked anyone else theirs because its completely irrelevant.
pretty sad about that since I was hoping for 80. Think I still have a chance for UTS engineering? Cut off is 85 I think... I applied for EAS. Hopefully get accepted and so get bonus points :3When the calculate your atar they use decimals and don't round up (97.5 in this case). So if both assessment and exam were the same you could have got 99.95 maybe. I would look into it still.

You must have been equal 1st, and whoever came 2nd externally pulled your assessment mark down.

lmao legitimately the exact same thing happened to me. same marks too... Except for me it happened because I was tied first with 4 other people due to horrific differentiation of internal marks.
