Most mainstream music since.. the mid 2000's at least, has been the same as it is now. Dance songs with lyrics with no meaning, or lyrics and music video's trying to evoke emotions through lyrics above love, love lost etc. It's all so similar and unoriginal that it's a pain to listen to and I rarely know which song just came out or came out years ago even. It's quite amazing that 442 million people have watching that Justin Bieber video though. http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/top_10_youtube_videos_of_all_time.php all those music video's are pretty rubbish as well. I like the last song but not that good anyway.
