50? HA, more like 30-40. The HSC questions are so bloody hard, and it's so hard to pick marks.
It takes so long to complete a single year HSC Paper, if you try hard, you could complete about 2 a day!! Whereas with the same effort you could complete about 7 3U papers
Finish the whole thing, HAHAHHAHA. Just take a look at a HSC paper, it's HUGE, and bloody hard. Anyone can go in their, and write a bunch or crap for every single question, and say 'yeah I finished the entire paper'. But it's incredibly hard, if not impossible to get it all right. I think the highest mark of all time is like 95% raw. Could I get some confirmation???
SWEET MOTHER OF CRAP. Was he like the great great grandson/daughter (notice the non-sexist remark ) of Einstein? 97% raw is insane, most people struggle to get over 60%
if i remmember correctly he came 1st in 4 unit maths, 6th in english, 2nd in physics, 3rd in economics and in his own words "screwed up chemistry" in which he came 17th
btw those rankings are in the *state* also he got full marks for the maths comp everytime he did it betwen year 7 and 12.......everytime
The board of studies used to have rankings of those in band 6 for the hsc, not sure if its still up there though, check year 2000 for the subjects i mentioned cause this guy is unbelievable
I am positive, I am sure I was checking them last year about the 2000 HSC
For every subject they would have the students with the 90+ HSC score and they were ranked
This year they instead released the % of people in each band I assume due to the new HSC
Ahh... yeah, I didn't think they had released a set of rankings for 2001.
There were a few people who could be considered Dux - take a look at http://lazseeker.cjb.net/meritlist.csv - for example, Lit Hau Tan. (save it and open in MS Excel, then you can sort by whatever column you want)
