I'm currently choosing subjects for my HSC next year, and I'm going back and forth between History and Drama. I am very good at memorising facts but i have a passion for acting as well. I'm taking EAD, Legal Studies, Society and Culture, General Mathematics and Economics. My school requires me to take up 6 subjects. So i guess the only way for me to decide is to know which of the two subjects scale better.

Modern scales pretty well overall and very well for a humanities.

If you're just going by scaling, then do Modern History. Scales a lot better than Drama.
Tbh neither scale particularly well, and while scaling is important, choose something you will like as it makes studying easier.
