Should I read any books before i start my uni course? (1 Viewer)

If I do get into UNSW I will most likely be doing bach of commerce/bach of economics. Do you know of any good books that would be good to read just over this break period before uni starts?

Don't read anything, if you're really keen you can get the textbooks and get stuck into the exercises and finish the whole semester before uni starts.

But don't do work now, it's silly. You have enough time to do that when semester starts.

Even purchasing previously prescribed textbooks is a bit risky as these things are subject to change until the lecturer informs the students otherwise.

What I would recommend you start doing though is reading economic analyses in news publications and reports from businesses.

This will give you somewhat of an understanding of the theory you learn next year rather than having to do the same in conjunction.
