if i had the chance to again i would have picked hsie subjects that i was naturally goated in instead of physics and stuff..
luckily my current combo isnt bad rn but i can't help but think how well i would do given i had picked things that i am good at
I have a few friends who faced this exact scenario, where they regretted not picking history (example) instead of one of the subjects that they did in hsc

Lol i was the opposite.

I legit picked 90% HSIE/Tech subjects and had to sack most of em and had to beg to get into X1.

Unironically the subjects I ended up liking were the "asian 5" replacing chem with eco but yeah it was more of something i was drawn to rather than bc of atar.

If u genuinely feel that you can go monster with a subject thats not normally recommended e.g business studies then go ahead. You're foolish if you think you can just get by chem/phys/mx2 or any other "hard subject" with 0 motivation or interest without burning out.
