Was just wondering whether anyone could help me, by telling me major similarites and differences in the ideas presented in both texts ?
I already have obvious ones like...

hmm, a difference could include how in the novel Frankenstein humans are considered 'human' through their appearance, thats how the creature is rejected. But in Bladerunner the replicants are almost the perfect human form yet their rejected by society because of lack of emotions (Voight Kumpf test). So maybe humanity could be an idea that the texts explore and how different they're percieved.

you could also talk about the difference of motives between the creators, such as Victor driven to make the creature for recognition and to defeat/overcome nature and to be 'blessed as it's creator and source' whereas Tyrell's motive is only commercialism which reflects the ideas at the time i suppose (1980's being a time of rapid development and commercialism). You could mention through these differences the creators meet a common ground of negligence and abuse of power etc.

Another difference could be that Frankenstein criticises the individual (Victor), whereas Blade Runner seems more a criticism of society (Tyrell, Deckard, the crowd when Zhora dies, Sebastian).

Little empathy is given towards the creator (Tyrell) in Blade Runner, whereas 'Frankenstein' gives a lot of voice to the monster's creator.
