What do u think of using The Simpsons (The episode where, they sleep through church and dream about being Adam and Eve) as a text to relate to Coleridge...
Man, i am running out of time....this english is really depressing...

simpsons is always good material. however,

there are far more better and more relevant related texts out there...

satirical pices are always good... but i mean u could try "big fish" or the "wizard of oz" "fight club"...

hmm.. space oddysey.. lots..!

becuase i dnt know how much u cud sustain about an imaginative journey with that episode... let alone linking it to colerige..

i mean u can link it via nature, religious symbology and allusions and fundamental christian beliefs.. to rime.. but.. i suggest you look a little deeper.

I disagree... think that that episode would be brilliant! I wish i used it!
Not only can you talk about the pantaeistic values gained through a greater appreciation of nature, you can talk about how the IJ's in that episode allowed the characters to broaden their understanding of themselves and the world around them through their journey (which directly relates to the stim. book)
I would forget clever films like fight club and such, and stick with something simple....it cuts out the need for any explanation.
I did a picture book and got an exam mark of 94.
