My teacher keeps telling the class to study all of the poems in the off-chance that we are tested on a specific one. Has this ever happened? Could it happen?

By examining the past papers, I cannot see how it ever could, as there is only ever one question for all the texts available. If this was to ever occur, the Creators of the paper would have to set an individual question for each text.

Not for Belonging. This would never happen, in my opinion.

It's a possibility...... all teachers have been warning me on this one.. HOWEVER the chances are very very low...

I could see 95% of the state failing if they did this :)

I dont think it would happen because usually its one general question for all texts.
