Aren't mages the skill that specialises in black and white magic? Like fireball and healing? As for the cabbages ~ I'd rather use the healing magic ~ I like to carry more weapons around.

Just magic/caster in general, not sure if other games have made it more specific or something.

i killed a dragon with just my bow last night

that staggering perk with destruction sorta makes things TOO easy that's why i don't play my mage anymore

In Oblivion, I focus on upgrades in archery, block, heavy armour and one-handed weaponry - it makes you feel more of a champion when defeating foes and dragons. The only magic I ever used the most was healing... Will most likely do the same for Skyrim when I finally buy it.

magic does way too much dmg in the game. considering you can just have your companion tank everything it doesn't really matter.

God I hate friendly fires on your companions especially when you only focused on upgrading skills in magic only.

same with an archer that has both stagger and paralyze

the game becomes a joke.. if you want it to be hard, you have to purposely gimp yourself by either going pure melee or by not taking certain perks

Maxtreeming enchanting and smithing means you can make smithing gear that adds 28% to smithing (if you take an elixir of enchantment as well) which means you can then smith daedric armour with the following stats:

That is just insane!

In response to your cabbage eating as a method of healing I said that if there were to be a group of bandits it would be funny yes. Zerg rush is when there are hundreds of enemies flanking their attack on you and you have no chance of winning etc... Starcraft Reference.

cabbages are always funny i killed a dragon yesterday purely by eating cabbages
