Exactly. And that is why this issue must also be taken to ACA and TT and other reputable media networks, so that something can be done.

what do you think?
this extra 15 minutes issue will be negative or beneficial for students who dont go to James Ruse/
idon't think anything is going to come of it
so beneficial for them
although more people will hate them because of it
even though it's not their fault

Ok

By comparing their marks to their internal results, and to their results in Ext 2.
The fact that you think you can use internal raw marks to determine the ability of a cohort/individual in relation to the state.

Also, you also seem to think a result in Ext2 is also an indicator. Newflash - some people do better in ext2 then ext1.

yes, and the UAC scaling
Except the cut-off bands aren't based on how everyone goes. The panel of judges pick a cut off band and whoever gets that mark will receive a band 6. Even if it's 60% of students, it won't matter.

Only thing you're correct on is the cohort of James Ruse can effect the UAC scaling, but at an negligible magnitude.

they're senior markers and they look at the paper.

they then decide on a cut off mark that a band 6,5,4 etc. studnet should get.

collaboration.

do they judge it before the marking begins or after the marking?
if before, what if there are so little people getting top 2 bands?
