Do i have to cancel my submitted CAF on estudent and submit a new one with the new details (TFN, indication to defer payment)?

When i asked student enquiry on campus they indicated i had to come back to give them my TFN in person, but surely this can be done online?

you can cancel and submit a new CAF on estudent, but i'm not sure whether that's the best option so hopefully one of the older students can confirm/provide more info

maybe call up SES and ask them if you can re-submit it online

I'm in the exact situation. They told me to submit a new form as soon as i get my tfn. I have already done this and i tried to cancel the old one but it wouldn't let me. I emailed them and they said just leave it as they will take the most recent one to be the truth (remember it is just an indication, not set in stone). So yeah.

What if you submit a new form first then cancel the other one (assuming it gets approved)
