What sacrifices are you going to make to get the best results?

Me:
1. Give up msn, I highly doubt this is going to happen.
2. Give up BOS, I also highly doubt this is going to happen.
3. Give up my life.
4. Get like 2 hours of tutoring a week.
5. I've already resigned from my job [but not for HSC though].
6. ): Not NOT listen in class.
7. Hang around the asians at school - MAJOR SACRIFICE.
8. Live in the library.

1. already done that LONG ago.
2. NEVAR!!!!
3. EVEN MORE NEVAR!!!!!
4. lol. i already get like 6 hours of tutoring a week.
5. No job yet, but it'll be waiting for me after the hsc.... *shudderz*
6. I'm seriously trying to not NOT listen.... but i have a brain like a sieve.
7. I'm an asian, so i guess i always hang around with myself, lol
8. My friend has recently forced me to live in the library during recess and lunch, but it's actually helping a lot, so kudos to her! :)

1. Less MSN meaning less friend making / girl meeting (AWWWWW)
2. study 1 hr a day in term 4, then 2 hrs term 1, 3 hrs term 2, and 4 hrs term 3.
3. nothing else really.

1 thing i learnt during prelims. consistent study>cramming at least for me lol

1. less gaming
2. consistent note taking and study- includes consistent bookwork i hate seeing my books being so neat first few pages but latter pages are messy and less colorful due to laziness
3. at least 1-3 hours of study a day though i know this wont happen
4. less computer
5. keep a cleaner desk
6. drink water, eat seaweed, fish, rice, vegetables and less minimal junkfood except maybe chocolate

haha. 'Fully sick brahs' - is not what we lebs use :p . But okay, the stereotype is funny ;)

I didn't give up on msn, or bos, maybe life ... Didn't get tutoring done (though was contemplating it, and is still...) , still have my job (LOL :p) , don't listen in class, don't hang around nerds (but I go to a selective school anyway, how ironic), don't go to the library... and is still surviving HSC. No sacrifices :p Haha.

MALEK FAHD IS A SELECTIVE SCHOOL!??!

I made a few sacrifices... quit work [ok not quit... said i wasn't going to work for a few months]... don't watch movies, don't watch more than 3 hours of TV a week, and i sacrificed lots of sleep. I feel so weird when i get more than 6 hours.

The HSC also tests how well you balance your life, not how much you sacrifice for it.

We all know no matter what school or person, THIS NEVER HAPPENS.
I don't think I've ever finished an assignment a week prior :p

^obviously you write speeches the day before, that way you remember it =]

I think I'm going to just try and do all my homework and do regular revision so when it comes to exams I'm not totally fucked.
That'll probably last for about the first 2 weeks of each term, but its worth trying.
Is anyone else going to suffer without being able to use the line "its not like it counts or anything"?

Um, I'm actually gonna try to be organized. I tried the loose-leaf thing this year, it didn't really work for me cuz i'd just not bother filing them away and yeah now i have nothing. but i suck at using exercise books too, because i always bring the wrong one and ahhhh it just gets messy.

halp me internet :(

Here's mine:

1. Give up MSN - unlikely.
2. Give up BOS (hopefully), Whirlpool (unlikely), Scanner Australia and other forums.
3. Learn from friends.
4. Get Physics tutoring.
5. Work in class!
6. Actyally study.

Oh yeah I got rid of MSN at the start of this year. cal made me cunting reinstall it a couple of months ago but I just deleted it again because the way I see it, BOS is a big enough distraction on its own  but I could never give BOS up. <3
