Software engineering at USYD? (1 Viewer)

I'm seriously considering software engineering at usyd due to convenience. How's the degree here in terms of teaching quality and time tables (also you go to uni 5 days a week like any other engineering degree I assume?). Is the social life as good as UNSW?
I believe the equivalent degree at UNSW is 10x better than the one here but is the one here THAT bad (people say the faculty lacks many things) or is it average like UTS etc?

it's not about the degree being 10x better at unsw

it's about the whole university experience being 10x better at unsw

If you honestly believe that a degree is 10 times better at UNSW but consider USYD anyway just for the sake of convenience (which I assume is a difference of 20-minute commute), you need to seriously re-evaluate.
