(See the Extension 1 and 2 forums for solutions to those papers.)

If you use these solutions, please estimate your raw mark! Post the mark in this thread. Then, when you receive your actual HSC mark, revisit your post and edit it to contain the new aligned mark. Thanks!

Update from Jeff Geha:
Thank you guys for your feedback!!

You are right, you have picked me up on a couple of silly errors. You see none
of us are immune from silly mistakes!!

Q1 (c) its 95 degrees
Q5 (b) I misread the Q and took the no. of blocks in 1st row to be 180 instead
of 180m!! New answers are:
(i) 63 (ii) 73 (iii) 3738

for the mathematics solutions...question 5 about the rowqs and bricks, Jeff Geha has got it wrong....he has incorrectly substituted the (a) in the arithemtic progression formula.....see for your selves, hence, the rest of the questions for that part are wqrong as well.

I posted them as soon as I received them.

The author probably deemed the Extension 1 and 2 papers as being more important.
