A good way to derive the expression in (ii) is multiply one of your equations by sina and the other by cosb, which allows you to eliminate Nsina.cosa and reach the required expression.

thanks thats helped a lot with i and ii, im having trouble with iii. do u let F=0 since u want there to be no friction and then solve that equation?
