you saw a shirt for $97. You borrowed $50 from dad and $50 from mom and finally bought the shirt receiving $3 change...You gave one dollar to mom and one dollar to dad keeping the remaining dollar to you...

Now you owe $49 to dad and $49 to mom and have $1 with you.. so 49+49+1=99

WHERE THE HELL IS THE MISSING DOLLAR?

It didn't go anywhere.
You spent $97, and gave $1 to each parent and kept $1 which equals $100.
You owed each parent $49 (total $98) and paid each parent $1 (total $2) = $100. If you paid the $1 you kept for yourself back to your parents, then the reduced amount you would've owed them would be $97.

You only owe your parents $97, not $98. Your parents already have $1 each, and you have $1, so combining what you owe with what you gave back, that's $99, and with your extra $1, that makes $100.
