Eh they said it was fairly easy. SEAL snipers 30m away. They could have done it earlier i assume because they only did it once his life was in danger after Mr obama said they could.

Everyone should be wary of these muslim pirate monkeys, the crew aren't allowed to carry guns on board and look how many ships have been hijacked, and how many millions of dollars have been handed over already.

You can't just kill every pirate (think of it like a wasps nest), the amount of water they need to patrol is huge and it costs a lot of money to have gunships and helicopters out there.

The problem is that merchant ships arent supposed to have any arms at all, not even pistols or whatever, and most nations won't let armed ships into their harbours. If the UN got off its ass and made it legal for ship crews to carry rifles or something this wouldn't be much of a problem at all.

Yeah, well cargo ships these days are massive motherfuckers, so it's not exactly hard to hide a weapon or two on board. And if you charged, say, $1,000 per mercenary per day, for the length of trip, the mercenaries would be making a shit-load of money and the shipping company would still be avoiding multi-million dollar pay outs.
