Yes but take all of these factors into account and make this into one short and concise paragraph. In the HSC they will be more lenient as you are on time constraints, and they will understand the pressure of the exam. But with some practice, you'll surely get A's if you put in the effort. You don't have to like it, just be good at it lol. Not even good just decent, and if he wants A's for his responses clearly he is looking to be a high achiever

He clearly wants higher, so it don't really matter. And a 70% can be done by anyone and prolly this person gets around this percentage. Although why not aim higher and try to maximise your atar. mid band 5s are pretty achievable for english.
