can someone explain how u know if a graph is many to many or one to one or one to many etc. how do u know by just looking at points?

also for this q I don't understand why B is many to many and C isnt. I was thinking could it be bc if u do line test so if it crosses once for C (hence it is not a function so it cant be one to many) but can someone explain this clearly.

Think about it:

one- one
Every x value only corresponds 1 specific y value.

one to many.
Some x values of the domain may correspond to many values of y (the range).
There will be some x values which have correspond more than 1 value of y.

Whether a graph is a function u do the vertical line test as this will show if every x value has only one y value.

Then doing a horizontal line test determines if the graph is one to one.
If the horizontal line intersects the graph at more than one point than the graph will be a many to one relationship as there are more than 1 x values which correspond with the same y value

C should be a many to one function
