While it would be a lie to say that Hospitality scales better than Business studies, scaling is not important unless you are doing poorly in your subject. That means, if you are ranking well and obtaining good marks in Hospitality, but are receiving poor marks in Business Studies, you will obviously benefit more from keeping Hospitality. You will not scale well in any subject if you are failing it.

I don't know why everyone makes a big deal out of scaling, alignment influences your end results more.

Saying that it scales better than business or "well" would be a lie but in saying that, if you are doing well (coming 1st or 2nd) you should be fine.

Depends on the circumstances mate - doesn't always hold true.

But this is a good point to raise.

It's like how, for example...

Economics is usually considered much more superior against Biology for one's ATAR but...

Biology can align better than Economics even though Economics usually scales better.
