Did anyone go to the Sonic Youth + J Masicus + The Follow gig at Enmore last Thursday or Friday?

it was terrific

What did you think of J Masicus?

he was great!

i loved the switching dynamics. he'd be strumming along then bust into a mad solo

do you dig sonic nurse? i think some people don't like the new stuff and were pissed off by the setlist

I didn't really like J Masicus... too folky for my taste Sonic Youth rock I only really got into them at the start of the year so I only have goo but kim is amazing... I liked peace party (their new song)... I wish they woulda played dirty boots but they didn't

i only got goo on the weekend after the show

i started getting into them last year, so i haven't got all their albums. just sister, daydream nation, dirty, murray st and sonic nurse

dirty boots would have been mad. teenage riot too.
we DID get Kool Thing on thursday at least. it went off.

err i haven't heard of any of them sorry

i guess i like a lot of indie music
stuff like pavement and radiohead and blonde redhead and stuff
i've been listening to lots of those in particular at the mo
