sooo confused about my subjects help me ong (2 Viewers)

So my subject selections are out and im hella confused ive selected them for the most part but im a bit unsure about some of them.

my subjects so far :
English Adv (mostly certain im not amazing at english im more of a maths girlie so like ima try this one out ig)
Mathematics Adv (certain)
Mathematics Ext 1 (certain)
Economics (certain)
Business Studies (either this or legal)
Hospitality VET (little unsure but i want a leisure subject)
Enterprise computing (really not sure about this one)
total = 13 units / 7 Subjects

So what does the 2024 HSC/Prelims think of enterprise computing is it good or nah because im really not interested but i feel like many essay subjects will throw me overboard and my parents want me to do enterprise so bad. i was thinking ancient history instead of enterprise but again im not that great at writing but i do have interest for the ancient world its just i was told theres hella amounts of content so im kinda intimidated.

also is hospitality VET a good or bad decision for a good atar because if i keep enterprise computing i was thinking just like drop enterprise after yr 11 and do hospo for hsc in yr 12 but apparently it scales really badly? any other recs or suggestions.

overall the rest is fine except hospo and enterprise if anyone has any suggestions for other subjects that aren't super content heavy in place of either one of them would be great, or advice on how to handle is also great bc idk what i finna do.

Enterprise computing can be good if you want to get into coding. Since you seem interested in mathematics it will be good if you have knowledge of coding so you can understand pseudocode and algorithms. There is also data science content.

hi i dont have much insight into your subjects specifically bc i don't do them (you can see which ones i do in my signature)

but feel free to ask me anything about english and math. i also accelerate adv math so i can speak on that ig

i can also suggest subjects that aren't that content heavy but only if you let me know which ones are available in your school - not all schools have everything available

If youre super unsure, why not a science? They're not nearly as rubbish and disjointed as year 9/10 science, and chemistry and physics are both 60% calculation in HSC with no essays. Very typical for maths lovers to do. Hospo in year 12 will tank ATAR, but its going to depend on your goals whether the tank is worth it or not.

yeah i dont like science but now that ive given the form in im thinking of physics when ive literally handed in the form but thanks for the help ill def refer back if i need any help with math ext 1 or adv and english adv!!

Bro this took my confidence up so much because i was told without a science i wouldnt make a 99+ the thing is its not like i totally hate science its more so like i dont understand it like i understand maths or eco so its just more work ig? and i havent payed attention to science since year 7 so yeah but like i said i handed my form in and im having my subject interviews next weekk.

im actually so scared for ext 1 maths becuase im not exactly genius at maths but if i study i can get it and then after the exam i will totally forget the topic forever until i have to study the whole thing again such a tiring process.

Economics scales better than physics does and if enterprise is the new IPT it will scale just fine as well, dont buy into the Asian 5 propaganda that you NEED chemistry and physics. the only thing you need is 4 unit and you'll do fine.

hospo is piss and all my friends love it as a relaxing subjects; I do business & legal and i will say business is a bit boring but the content itself is quite easy but legal is just so much more interesting. legal is quite essay based so take what u will
if u do well in hospo, i dont see it as a bad subject, looking at their exams its not very hard imo.

there is a site called dokumen.pub. just go to google and search up dokumen.pub and whatever textbook thing you want. links dont seem to work too well when i share them and the entire site is in another language but i promise its a safe site bc ive downloaded countless books and textbooks.
