Does anyone have access to the BoS special provisions guide lines. There are 2 people at my school who deal with the applications, neither will fill me in on them. Both have said I am definately entitled to them, but after bein declined on the first application and appeal I'm getting conflicting instructions. One is saying to continue fighting the decision, refuse to do the exams, willing to call our MP who she is friends with so that this is heard. The other, who I have worked with since year 7 is just of the opinion that no further appeals will make a difference, just do my best in the exam and prey for a kind marker. I just want to see the guide lines so I can decide for myself, but I've asked both and they won't show them.
Is there anywhere online with them? Best I could find was a note saying to contact year advisors/principals to find out if needed.

Also, should I do the exam as best as I can or just point blank refuse using the excuse given, lack of equity in access.

I have heard that BOS are really getting tough on Special Prov. due to a large increase in applications from private school kids wanting to use their computers.

I know one boy who got special prov. and one kid who, after having them since yr 9, was knocked back for HSC. After an appeal he got permission for english exam only. But it seems really tough.

What do you need it for?

Your teachers should be telling you more, keep asking them!

All they told me was that alot more are being declined because the small schools can't handle the number of computers required. I go to a large school and they only want 2 and we both really need it, but nothings happening.
I have CMT, which is wonderfully rare, so no ones ever heard of it and I can't get specialists to help with the paperwork needed. Pretty much means it painful to hold a pen and I don't have the control to write neat enough for it to be understood, especially not over 2 hour exams.
