Science teacher wants research tasks which test like how something has affect on something?
Does that make sense?
Like how does (something) affect (something)?

And it can't to be too easy since I'm in the advanced class. I'll lose marks for doing an easy one :/

This doesn't even make sense. Are you talking about cause and effect?

I was in the advanced class, and they emphasised doing something that wasn't too simple. However, if you were to do something simple, we weren't marked down solely because it was too simple (since it wasn't apart of the marking criteria).

I did a fairly simple one,
- I tested how temperature effects the pH of orange juice.

From memory, I think people in my class also did:
- How different materials effect ball movement. This was related to pool tables and how the material of the table can effect the game I think.
- The effect of different coloured lights on plant growth.
- The effect caffeine has on plant growth.

I think if you looked at a biology textbook (edit: or any other science textbook), you could get some more ideas (eg. the enzyme investigation) that are a little more difficult.
