Standard Numerical Grade (SNG) (1 Viewer)

What are these?

I noticed them being used instead of GPA in the Psychology department, is this the same across the uni?

In any case, what does 70 SNG translate to for GPA?

Fail 0-44,
Conceded Pass 45-50, GPA 1
Pass 50-64, GPA 2
Credit 65-74, GPA of 3
Distinction 75-84, GPA of 4
High Distinction 85-100, GPA of 4

So at Macq, a SNG of 70 equates to a GPA of 3
Macq uses a 0-4 GPA system (similar to US)
but in terms of other units, its equivilent to a 5.

does anyone know where you can find your SNG then?

im thinking about appealing one unit..but on the 'Important Information About Grade Appeals' pdf it says that

"If your Standardised Numerical Grade (SNG) is close to the cut-off for a higher grade your exam script will have already been reviewed."

i dont wanna apply for script review if its already been reviewed ><

Thanks Tabris! SNG of 70/credit average (unless I've missed something) does not seem impossible for Psych-Honours.

Can I view my script even when I didn't fail one?? I did quite well in 253 (D) and was just wondering if I could view my exam paper??
