I have been offered a job interview at star city casino.

they want me to come in on wednesday for a few hours.

DOes anyone wpork their or know some that does.

if so what is involved in the test & what do u do in traning.


I was also wondering if anyone has been there recently. IS there a ban on smoking in the casino

Looks like you've applied for dealer, they make you do eye tests to see whether you're colour blind or not. One of my friends couldn't get the job since he failed the eye test.

nice work.. I rekon it would be a pretty sweet job. Thered be a fair bit of training wouldnt there, i mean the dealers are pretty skilled.. probably have to do a short course or something.. good luck! keep us posted!

my brother works as a dealer...yep you have to do training but the most important skill you need is maths..you need to be able to quickly calculate stuff on ur mind..but yep once u get it....they offer you the chance to learn more games and thus get a payrise evrytime u learn a new game..only thing that kills you though is shifts...you get rotated every 2 months..my brother is back on the 8pm to 4am shift....they rotate him to that one and the 12nn to 8pm shift

I did the color blind test & only two circles had no number

i did a hands test of picking up chips using a 5 point star gripping.

i answred 80% of the maths questions

& i had an interview. i told them about my ashma & they said it the casino will be smoke free by next year & if i am assigned a private room. i must tell my manager about my condition with a medical cert

u wont be assigned a private room when u start working, ppl who deal in there have been at star city for at least 4+ yrs and they mainly play baccarat but ur first game will be blackjack.

Whatr Requirements They Didnt Fucking Saying Any Requirements. All What They Wanted Was Over 18+ Aussie Citizen Or Permimnent. Im Fucking 20 Years Old & I Was Born In This Son Of A Bitch Country.

Those Recruitment Consotents Dont Know Shit I Ansaewred 70% Of The Questions, Picked Up All The Chips Without My Fingers Touching Each Other & Put In A Number In The Color Blind Test Expect Rfor The Last Two. Im Not Fucking Color Blind.
