I'm sitting the STAT test tomorrow- I am so nervous!

I have done practice exams, and have found that I am really good at the english based questions but suck hard at the maths based questions.

why are you sitting STAT then? unless you want to go into pharmacy at sydney or something and just so you know grades don't mean shit.

I got 196 in STAT (100th percentile), and I got a UAI of 33.00.

your rote learning doesn't mean shit to you in there.

...handing in assessable items on the due date is a pretty good idea

less than 50% attendance for 2 subjects (my highest was like 83%).

atleast one N-award warning letter in every subject (3 in chemistry).

I'm doing the STAT tomorrow at midday and I'm getting worried for it ... I didn't do great in the practice booklet they sent (got about 50 something questions right out of 70) and I don't know how that'll transfer to tomorrow's test.. Any ideas?

Just got back from STAT at Sydney Boys' High School. Most of the questions were okay, I had a bit of trouble with some of the verbal ones though, especially the last question. What were everyone else's experiences?

went to Birrong Boys HS and found it hard! the first few questions frustrated me... does anyone know when the results get posted out?

UAC site said they send out results about 3 weeks after you sit the STAT

I know for UWS they take STAT results into consideration if higher than your UAI, my really good friend got a UAI of 30 and under, however since he got a stat result of 160 I think, anyway its equivalent to a UAI of 70, he managed to get into BA/primary teaching at UWS which requires a UAI of 70 :mad1:.

Anyway USYD takes it for pharmacy only and UNSW doesn't take it into consideration at all.
