Hi! My name is Jess and I obtained state rank of 2nd in NSW in English Extension 1 and 2nd in NSW in Latin Extension in 2018, achieving an ATAR of 99.95. I now study double degree medicine at the University of Sydney. For my undergraduate, I majored in English Literature and studied both essay based and creative writing subjects, for which I was on the Dean's list for academic excellence.


- ABOUT ME

Since graduating, I've garnered extensive experience tutoring English at a specialist English tuition firm where I gained insider's knowledge of the HSC syllabus and guided over 30 students to full mark outcomes and top ranks in their cohorts. I now exclusively teach privately, with my student base from schools including Pymble Ladies, James Ruse, Baulkham Hills, North Sydney Girls, Sydney Boys, and Meriden. Over my past 4 years teaching, I've gained valuable insight into tailoring lessons to my students' needs & school-specific expectations, and hope to pass my roadmap to succeeding in HSC English onto you!

In addition, majoring in English Literature in my undergraduate at University, I have a genuine passion for the subject and would love to help and mentor you throughout the entire HSC process. For my students, I believe in fostering critical and independent thinking skills which are so essential to achieving success in all subject areas.
