What is raw mark I should get for internal and external to state rank engineering studies?

You would most likely have to be ranked 1 internally and in the hsc get a raw mark of at least 92-93 based on past years in the hsc. This is just for a low state rank btw. To get 1st in the state your raw mark should probably be 96+.

wait why is the raw mark for hsc so low? like for maths it always has to be 100?

It's because 93 will align with around 97, and for engineering, it's quite hard to get much higher than that because almost everyone will miss something in the exam by accident. Most people lose marks in the drawings cause they forget a few smaller details.
