I know for sure that people who ranked 1st in the state were told on Friday. I'm not sure about ranks beyond 1st.

They were told through phone calls btw. The ceremony is today in a few hours and I believe it's being broadcasted live on the SMH website somewhere.

Final ranks for the Distinction Course - Philosophy were disclosed about a month ago to the students with the consent from the Board of Studies.

LOL I came 21st. Still technically a state rank right? I mean, it is a rank within the state.

Not when there are only 53 people in the course LOL. It places me outside the top 25% so it scales crap.

yeh theres not much info on it and it's hard to tell cos i think in calculating state ranks the BOS uses up to 2 decimal places, but they only give u up to the whole number, so a 98 might have been a more exact mark of 97.50 or a 98.49... so its hard to tell =P

i also got a 98 for english advanced, but because of my poorer assessment mark, my overall was 97 >_o
the parentals are eagerly awaiting something, but my hopes aren't up ><"
