ummm the members have different status depending on the amount of posts.. i think it goes up after 50, 100, 300, 500, 1000 then at 3000 you get custom status

yeah but i don't think anyone got it all right yet. try and work it out yourself if you're bored and then tell as how many posts you need to go up the levels!

Huy almost got it once, search Huy and a word like associate

There should be a FAQ in nearly all sections which would take a fair bit of time. But there just needs to be a message telling people to search for their answer first.

Then have a message come up when they want to post a new one to search for similar threads (if that is possible)

yeah if it's one of the FAQs it would work. or make a brief list - "if your msg is abotu custom, avatars etc. check FAQ" if it comes up everytime they want to post then it won't work

I offered as another title to be added to the "list" (see previous posts above mine) that are available here on the board
+
Id say it was a custom as (IMO) its a status/title that only a few are "eligible" for (same principle as the post count version/length of time on board version).
Would even go further to say its a "title" like the admins/super admin (note-not saying I am one or that I dont know who you are!! :) ) titles of old as in its a "conferred title" (ie Laz is responsible for them+there are not that many of us---10??)
Makes it a custom status in my eyes......
