Well my offer from UNE Armidale the science i wanted to do which have UAI cutoff of 84. My uai was 40.65 with additional 10points. How possible i got accepted with 30-40points below the cutoff?

Isn't something i signed in form for min entry requirements i did before the application for Qtac? We did this from career advisor from school back in September.

I think peter2 is right in saying that obviously, if there haven't been a sufficient or usual amount of people applying for the course then the circumstances to which the uni accepts people changes, and the bracket of people eligible to be normally accepted widens - therefore giving you the opportunity!

congratz buddy... unis in qld are pretty lenient in terms of considering NSW students' UAI, I heard....

all unis do this, the smaller regional unis do this moreso, especially giving places to rural students well below the published uai cutoff.

just a way to keep the published uai's up, whilst filling all of thier places.
