i'm doing com accg and appfin too, and in the unit outline for the four years it says you have to do both econ2xx's as core...but maybe i'll have to ask someone later bout it

I've confirmed it with Bill (App Fin student advisor) that we only have to do one of them. It's only for the App Fin degree, Com-accg poeple dont have to do it. If you look at the App Fin outline, it too says you have to only do one.

how bout econ200 in summer flyin, ne good ?

You must be rich. I have no opinion on 200 except that if it's anything like 111, it'd be pretty fun. But don't do Summer School, it's holidays -> holidays!!!

Two semester of macroeconomics does no one any good - first 110 in first sem, then 201 in sec sem (at least no more ECON ever after this... I remember myself saying this about ACCG last year).

ECON200 is a very tough course, and to do it over summer, it'll be even tougher. Maybe they'll make it a little easier for summer school. ECON200 is a lot more analytical than ECON111. If your thinking of taking it in summer, let me know. I'll sell you my ECON200 book, never touched it.

Yeh it does actually

I really only studied the lecture notes. Then read through the textbook. Cause we have a separate workbook full of questions where we do our tute work. Thats where we learn most our stuff. The textbook has good examples and thats all its good for.

and people seem to agree that the q's flyin posted were virtually the same to the ones they had. does anyone still have "model" answers they prepared for any of these questions? im willing to buy ^^

how is that promising though? If theyve asked it 3 times in a row...theres a good chance they might actually get creative this year and break tradition...(but hten again they could ask it again because they're lazy...which means we need to prepare and memorise all 4)
