Yeah no, that's not how it works. If a girl sends a guy nudes, she's not 'asking' him to distribute it to the whole world. Shame on her for trusting him, sure, but even more shame on him for exploiting that trust

Plus, some of the pictures on that website were taken without the girls consent, like when they were in the change-rooms. They certainly weren't 'asking to get it leaked'

I agree with all of this. However don't agree with the people who have leaked the photos. Yes these girls are most at fault and have no one besides themselves to blame.

What do they get out of taking nude photos of themselves and then selflessly posting it to their guy friends? Absolutely nothing.

I partly blame the youth culture of the West especially Australia. Where we see these things as acceptable and never realise the consequences of such actions that we take.

Shutting down a website does nothing. There's a dozen 4chan-clones which host boards similar to the one they attempted to shut down and some of the people involved have gigabytes of pictures, videos saved that they can share though anonymous filehosts anyway.

Let's say that a friend wanted to borrow something off you that was important to you and you kindly allowed your friend to use it for a while. It turns out your friend gave away it someone else.

You ask for it back kindly but your friend says to you, "Your fault for giving it to me in the first place."

You can't blame the girls sending nude pictures of themselves. They weren't asking for themselves to be distributed. It's like saying that girls can't drink alcoholic drinks because they'll get assaulted and it'll be their fault because they were drinking in the first place which made them drunk.

Blame the people distributing the nude pictures to other people. The ones making the wrong decisions and ruining people's lives.

You wouldn't like it if someone stole something off you and blame it on you because it was your fault for trusting in them anyways.

In most cases it is some sort of revenge but this just looks like an overall violation really. Most of these aren't as revenge, the people who distributed it are just involving themselves in some exploitation trend.
