Welcome to my world there is a guy in my physics and chemistry class just like that....only thing to do independant learning.... you just have to live with it and go on, though on a positive note independant learning is far more productive that learning in class and by learning ahead and then just confirming after class is better for you...1/5kiwifruit said:There is this girl in my economic class who:
1) wastes 20-25 mins of class time asking questions because she doesn't bother reading the textbook
2) needs the teacher to repeat to her the information 2-3 times each lesson
3) is allowed to hand in her essays late because she doesn't "understand" the question asked
4) because of her irrelevant questions, has hindered the whole class from moving forward
She doesn't have mental disabilities (she's quite smart) but just enjoys acting stupid....and is possibly just seeking attention
To the horror of our class she has decided to go on with economics in year 12 and we are really worried... should we talk to the teacher? or just leave it?
And also..if you are someone that shares the same traits as mentioned above.. Why would you do this to the whole class?
OK Ok i'll spill it! I knew that sooner or later you'll realise that this whole thread was about you... *shakes head*kadlil said:spill it kiwi fruit~~!!!
it is bad when a student is like that.. in our skool, there is a teacher who forgot he got a lesson 4times, and neva teach anything from the syllabus.. and forgot to give bak test papers..Ghost1788 said:Welcome to my world there is a guy in my physics and chemistry class just like that....only thing to do independant learning.... you just have to live with it and go on, though on a positive note independant learning is far more productive that learning in class and by learning ahead and then just confirming after class is better for you...

I used to get that in year 8, you would have hoped people would have learned to think for themselves by the time they're legally allowed to drive to the supermarket and buy a knife.0Jade0 said:There are so many girls at my school that ask if they need to start a new page or "is this a title?" This especially makes me angry in maths. You don't learn anything that won't be in the exam, which is established early in the year.drewgcn said:I used to get that in year 8, you would have hoped people would have learned to think for themselves by the time they're legally allowed to drive to the supermarket and buy a knife.
Almost as bad is the people who ask all the time "Is this going to be in the exam?"
nup, actually, i would say that they're worse at uni than in high school. and nobody cares - you've just got to get on and live with it. independent study is the key. or ask a question of your own to get the teacher back on track and talking about what you feel you should be learning1/5kiwifruit said:LOL I thought they would have died out by then.....
OMG i hate that so much...its even better when they follow it with "whats the date?" especially when its clearly written up there for all and sundry to see. its ok to ask if you really dont know but come on...it says it right there!!!!!!0Jade0 said:There are so many girls at my school that ask if they need to start a new page or "is this a title?"
