Study at Macquarie city campus or north ryde? (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking of studying Commerce-professional accounting.. but don't know if i should go to the city campus or north ryde which is better? what are the differences?
Also how do you get to the city campus by train? which train station do you get off at and is it located near the
train station?

city campus is located near wynyard station (5min or so walk)

Haven't studied at the city campus, but the content of the degree should be the same at both campuses. The difference would mainly be the culture of the campus and the access to services. The city campus location is convenient if you want to find food/entertainment/meet up with friends/looking for work in the city area etc, the city campus also has its own activities and campus culture. Whereas the North Ryde campus, is greener, bigger (student numbers therefore more student societies/activities etc), and generally, can be quite a nice place to study on campus. It depends on where you are travelling from and which location would be more convenient for you.

The city campus is really small (as in it only offers a limited number of degrees - Commerce - professional accounting, BBA and Arts). What this means is that you get a very small student community to the extent that you'll become acquainted with most people that study there. Class sizes are small and you get to really know your lecturer.

Content is exactly the same and the campus is regularly audited to ensure consistency. If you want to work in the city, it's a pretty ideal place to go since it's literally ontop of Wynard station.

If you want the full university experience then go to North Ryde. This includes having a large student community, clubs and societies and on campus events etc.

I should note that its extremely easy to transfer between campuses, so you can always try it out and see how you go if you're set on it.
