Feel free to comment or criticise :D

To spur myself to study and at the same time increase my efficiency, I will meticulously document what I've done or studied at the end of each day.

FUCK, THIS is how you do good at 4U.

No.1: FUCK PATEL, he's a gronk.
No.2: Fuck anything to do with Excel
No.3: DO EVERYTHING in Terry Lee(except Challenege questions) and Cambrdige( except further questions)
It is HIGHLY unlikely that your 4U exaam will be harder than a HSC Q6,Q7,Q8 question, so LEAVE the Challenge questions and Cambridge FURTHER questions till a couple months b4 the exam.

Why do i Say to do cambridge and terry lee? Because the majority of the questions(around 90% of questions) ARE HSC STYLED QUESTIONS, you have to note though often they do not include HSC styled questions, e.g. terry lee ex2.8 complex locus'. The harder questions like Q9,10 etc are just bullshit, you won't ever find them in a HSC exam, because Locus questions don't get supper hard.

No.4: Don't do Coroneos, its a good book but its old, but you can pick a few questions from there.
Terry Lee and cambridge are MORE IMPORTANT -- YOU MUST DO EVERY QUESTION

No.5: The important one: DO NOT do only 9 past papers. That's ridiculous. You should aim to do 20+. Cambridge and terry lee are like your prep for past papers.

However you should not time yourself when you to the HSC past papers, just go as fast as you can, or if it's too hard, take your time and attempt to figure it out. If you can get Trial Papers from all the selective schools in Sydney, I've got about 100. And just do them...

These three things: Cambridge, Terry Lee, Past Papers (also any homework sheets your teacher gives) will make 4Unit pish easy for you

Also for extension 1:

I have the preliminary course EXCEL books for Ext1 maths, and its pretty damn good for revision, and testing yourself. I don't know much about the HSC book, but it's probably good.

Also one MUST HAVE EXCEL book is the pocket-sized book with ALL THE FORMULAS in HSC EXT1 MATHS --> really helpful, you can just whip it our from your pants and look up a quick formula (obviously not in the exam)

Also my study for 3U is no where near as organised and rigid as it is for 4U --> it's all over the place. Yet I did a shit load of practice papers, like over 30, and yeah i did pretty well in my HY.
So practice papers are essential for 3U, asks your school for past papers that your school gave for trials and shiz.

ALSO: MATHS IN FOCUS, WTF BRAH? get rid of that fitzpatric, cambridge are your best friends... Also I have no idea about Terry Lee 3U whether it's as good as its 4U counterpart...

to OP: SPECIFICALLY, what are your ranks?

and remember don't do too much, besides I doubt you'll finish all of the work above; it is simply too much without any indication to me that you have a break or anything... =_=
heck I'm procrastinating tomorrow when I have music assignment due tomorrow

And to blackops23 -> I reckon Terry Lee 3U is quite good

Also to add for the 4U list, doing Phoenix questions sorted by topic would be good because they often reflected the HSC questions that have been asked.

My cohorts like around 200 people. Man, my ranks stink, which is why i'm going crazy and overcompensating.
I didn't ask for my rank for business and english, but I have a rough idea of where I'm at. I'm roughly well in the top half.
For 3u maths and 4u, I'm around the top 20-30 and we haven't done any assessments for physics, but I think I'm around the top 10, if not then maybe 20.
But it's not where I was before that matters. I was super pissed at these ranks so this insane plan is my way of taking corrective action, since I've calculated that it's STILL POSSIBLE to get 99.95 ATAR.
Oh and I go to a decent school in the top 8.

@YA_MUM shit stainz, i forgot about that, YES PHOENIX IS A MUST MUST MUST FOR REVISION -->AWESOME BOOK

wtf patel is awesome
Waste of valuable valuable valuable time. Every second counts in the HSC. Although I don't uphold that notion because I'm afflicted with addiction-to-youtube disease, yeah it is an important concept to remember

@ya_mum side note: you realise that getting a 99.95 you have to:

A. Be a genius
B. Study 5 hours a day
C. Study 8 hours a day on weekends, perhaps with one day a week off for relaxation
D. Go tornado mode in the holidays
E. Can't get distracted by anything, Tv, youtube, games, porn
F. YOU MUST BE IN THE TOP 50 IN THE STATE

I can't say anything, because i don't know who you are, but its just getting in the TOP 50, in the state.... that is just insane. So... prove me wrong mate, prove me wrong

I've only started to get serious for my HSC in late March, when I know I should have started to get serious at October 2010. So I know a 98-99 is out of my grasp.
If you have only started this SUPPEEERR HSC plan during March, I dunno if you can get the elite mark. . But srsly who knows you could be one of the 50 KINGS OF THE HSC...

.
Then again somethings you just have to know from experienced people about Terry Lee and Cambridge. Some topics are covered excellently, others are just stupid...
E.g. Complex Numbers --> YOU MUST DO BOTH TERRY LEE AND CAMBRIDGE
Graphing --> TERRY LEE IS A MUST, but don't do cambridge.
Why? Graphing is the simplest topic in 4U, look at terry lee, near the end of the later exercises, the hardest question are going to be like y= [e^x - e^(-x)]/[e^x + e^(-x)]

Cambridge doesnt really recognise that Graphing is the easiest topic, and they go into overdrive with their questions.

The questions are too hard for what type of graphing questions you will get in the HSC. So just stick to Terry Lee

Conics --> MUST DO TERRY LEE, Cambridge is allright... for conics, so pick a few questions here and there from cambridge, but you don' have to do every question if you think it takes too much of your time.
