When people say that year 11 is the time to find the best study method for yourself, that could be like ANYTHING T.T so many methods.

nothing is wrong with metalheads, infact i listen to metal stuff as well..
but the school has a rep for dropkicks and stoners.
e.g. all the kids i know in rl who went there, dropped out after sc to get apprenticeships, then dropped out of the appretinceships.

Nawt even for the yearlies?!?!?
Nothing. I only started making notes in Term 3 of the HSC, after half yearlies XD

lawl most of us wouldn't even prepare for prelims haha

but i would highly recommend anna's advice to play a vital role into your study method.
Naww

Best advice ever - Use yr 11 to learn how to study efficiently!

I did a combination of all three. Moderation is key unless you NEED 99.95. People need to remember it doesn't mean shit getting a super high atar as long as you get what you need (Y)

Pay attention in class. Read/highlight the handouts. Go out on friday and/or saturday nights. Have a part time job. Revise the night before/morning of an exam something fierce.

I did this, with slightly more emphasis on the job and going out, and I did ok. Just chill out, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

Sorry, but I don't really believe that. I must have a regular study habit plus cramming at the last mintue. People normally said that to me but they actually cram like hell every single day till like 12 at night or sometimes even 2 in the morning. (only the people tells me to chillax and do a bit of study)

But I would say my study methods are homework + regular studying + cramming at the last minute.

Year 11 is pretty short.. better start experimenting with study methods! :(
That's right. Year 11 was over and I was like "wtf was that?" lol.

And in case you guys were wondering, most 09ers would not have made notes for year 11 including me XD
I made notes in Year 11 (only for Chem+Physics). They don't seem to be that relevant to Year 12 now. xD

I only started making notes in Term 3 of the HSC, after half yearlies XD
:jaw: Really? How did you study then?

Have a part time job.
I wouldn't.

I did this, with slightly more emphasis on the job and going out, and I did ok. Just chill out, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
Bear in mind that not everyone wants 83.95. (I'm not saying it's a bad ATAR, just that some people actually need higher than that to get into a course they want)
