Timetables don't work for me, so I have a to do list.
For assignments and stuff, I break it down and put it on my calendar what I should have done by a certain date or something.

Incorporate STUDY, HOMEWORK, REVISION, so that you first get to know what you have to do, than undertake the proper questions, then revise to ensure you remember what you have done.
