I need some study tips for IPT, my marks are always varying from the high 90's to the low 60's does anyone know what study plan for this subject (IPT) is good and will get the marks for the HSC?

Any help is appreciated

Past papers are the most useful resource for HSC study. It will also help you figure out any weak areas you may have.

Read the syllabus and answer it by writing a response, make it short enough to remember but long enough to FULLY answer it. That's how I study, by answering the syllabus pretty much. :p

Have you tried doing past papers yet? It's good to know the content but make sure you're able to apply the knowledge to the scenario and be able to gain full marks.

You'll do better if you can understand the concepts and apply it to a scenario rather than memorising points.

Haha I'm not the OP, nor do I do IPT! :p

Although yes, I have done past papers for Maths, I don't do Bus/SOR/Eng past papers since I can't study like that, but I do for Phys and Maths. Thanks for the help anyways. :)

The way I've been doing it is doing multiple choice on the BOS website, then writing down any topics I need to revise.

The way i like to study for IPT (i ranked 2nd by like 1%) is just past papers and reading over syllabus notes.

I have noticed trends, such as a majority of sections ask for social and ethical issues which tend to range from 3-5 marks, so be familiar with those

Dataflow diagrams aren't as recurring, but being familiar with that, along with context, will help (most cases, its a 3 marker to draw one, and anything on the paper can score full marks, as long as it makes sense)

and to top that off, just go into the exam and manipulate the questions (if it asks what something is, repeat the word in the answer, because 9 times out of 10, that what it actually is!!) e.g. a content provider provides content (according to the textbook, but knowing what the is content, is where the syllabus notes come into play)
